Luke 22:19-20 as an interpolation

“Other ancient authorities lack, in whole or in part, verses 19b-20 (which is given…in my blood)”. The words, “do this in remembrance of me” do not occur in the parallel text in Mark’s Gospel (Mark 14:22) and is also absent from some early manuscripts of Luke’s Gospel, so some scholars argue that there are good reasons to consider the words an interpolation. If the words are to be considered original to Luke’s Gospel, this would mean that the author probably knew Paul’s First Epistle to the Corinthians and copied the words from 1 Corinthians 11:24.
